  • Is Edmodo shutting down?

    Yes, but users in Ghana don’t have to worry

  • All accounts on Edmodo (Teacher, Student, and Parent) will be permanently deleted after our platform is fully shut down. Not only will your account be deleted but all personal data and any materials you have created within your account will also be permanently deleted. You can be assured that your personal data will not be shared, transferred, or sold to any 3rd party and, in fact, once permanently deleted, it will not be accessible or recoverable even by Edmodo

  • For Edmodo Pro School Admins in need of assistance, please contact your Edmodo Account Manager as soon as possible for further steps.

    If you are an Edmodo Pro User (Teacher, Student, Parent), please contact your School Admin who will have more information.

  • Safety and privacy are still a priority for Edmodo. We will continue to monitor the site for any potential threats, inappropriate activities, or any violation of content and usage until September 22, 2022.

  • Edmodo is an all-in-one solution for distance learning and hybrid learning. With accounts for admins, teachers, students, and parents, Edmodo brings all the members of the educational community in one place. Combining the tools you need (like quizzes, assignments, and messaging), with an easy-to-use interface, Edmodo allows you to create flexible educational spaces.

  • Please see this page to learn how to create a premium Edmodo account for free no matter if you are an admin, teacher, or student.

  • It’s great that you’ve already been using Edmodo with your students and fellow teachers. You can join the Ghanaian community and begin using the premium features by clicking “Report an Issue” at the top of the page. Please provide your name, the email linked to your Edmodo account, and your role and we’ll move you over.

  • Edmodo is free to all Ghanaian teachers, students, admins, and parents thanks to our partnership with the Ghana Ministry of Education, GES, and Ghana Library Authority.
